At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden for
the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the said
County by Adjournment on Thursday the Twenty eighth day of
February in the Fifth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord-
George the Third King of Great Britain Etc Before Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr
the Right Honble John Lord Viscount Dudley< no role > and Ward Saunders

< no role > Benjamin Cowley< no role > Esquires Justices of our said Lord the King
Assigned to Keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and-
Determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanours
committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Mary Magdelen Bermondsey in the County of SurryHaveExhibited their Petition
and appeal at thePresent Sessionlast General Quarter Sess. of the peace holden for the County of Middx on Mond. the 14 day of January last Setting forth that by Virtue of an order under-
the hands and Seals of John Spencer Colepeper< no role > and Cadwallader Coker< no role > Esquires
Two of his Majesys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (one being
of the Quorum) bearing date the Twenty seventh day of December last Three of
the Children of John Brighton< no role > Deceased and Mary< no role > his wife namely Charles< no role > Aged-
thirteen Years and upwards, John< no role > aged eight years and upwards and Richard< no role > Aged.
Six years and upwards were removed from the Parish of Saint Sepulchre in the said
County of Middlesex to the said Parish of saint Mary Magdalen Bermondsey as-
the place of their last legal Settelment Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves
Aggrieved Which appeal was duly adjourned untill this Dayand the same being came on this day to be heardNow upon hearing of the said
Petition and appeal in the Presence and hearing of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Sepulcher in the County of Middlesex
It is Ordered by this court that the said Pass warrant or Order of the said two Justices
be Quashed and Vacated for several defects of substance and not o form amended found therein and the same is hereby Quashed and vacated accordingly.
