Elizabeth Gregory< no role > of Cock. Pit. Alley, near
great Wild Street in the said County of Middlesex
the Prosecutrix abovementioned, and Ann Lacy< no role >
of the same Place Wife of the said Defendant
Daniel Lacy severally make Oath and Say, and
first the said Elizabeth Gregory< no role > for herself
saith, That She was present at Hicks's Hall
on the tenth Day of December last, when the
sd. Ann Lacy paid or Handed over by the Hands
of Mr. John White< no role > to Mr. James Jefferson< no role > the
Sum of two Shillings and eight Pence as Fees
and to discharge or have with drawn the Recogni-
-zance enterd into by Lawrence Doran< no role > as Bail for
& with the said Deft; and that She this Deponent
Saw the said Ann then pay the same & heard the sd.
Jefferson acknowledge the Receipt thereof; And the
said Deponent Ann for herself sayth That she
Actually & Vinly [..] did on the Day & at the Place
last aforesaid pay the Sum abovementioned to the
said Mr. Jefferson in Manner and for the Purpose
aforesaid, as by the sd. other Deponent Elizabeth
herein before Set forth and mentioned

Sworn at Hicks Hall
in St. John Street the 1st. Day
of May 1764.
