WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto us, two of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) by the
Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Giles in the fields in the said County,
That Mary Elderfield< no role > Widow of
Benjamin Elderfield< no role > Deced is

lately come into the said Parish endeavouring to settle
there, contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
said Justices, and we do adjudge that She is likely
to become chargeable to the said Parish; and upon Exami-
nation of the said Mary Elderfield< no role >
taken upon Oath, it further appeareth unto us,
and we do likewise adjudge, that the parish of St
Andrew Holborn above the Bars in
the said County is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Mary Elderfield< no role >

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Charge and
Command the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St. Giles in the Fields
forthwith to remove and convey the said Mary
Elderfield

from the said Parish of St. Giles in the fields
to the said Parish of St. Andw. Holbn. above the Bars
and deliver her to the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one them, who are here
by required to provide for her according to Law. When
under our Hands and Seals the 3d Day of

To the Church-wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the respective Parishes of
St Giles the fields
in the County of Middlesex ,
and St. Andrew Holborn above
the Bars in the Sd. County
and to all other Officers Whom it may
concern.
