The King Against Edward Dudley< no role > on the
Prosecution of Mary Jefferys< no role > on an Indictment
for an Assualt

Richard Needham< no role > of play house yard White Cross Street in the Parish of Saint Luke in
the County of Middlesex Victualler Maketh Oath that
he became bounder for the appearance of the
above Named Defendant to answer the said Indictmt
(to the best of this Deponents Remembrance) at
February session last And that the said Defendance
soon afterwards thereupon Obsemded and kept out of the
way so that this Deponent could not apprehend him to
render him in Discharge of his Recognizance altho' he
took the almost pains from time to time so to do by
making the most dilligent Enquiry after him This
Deponent says that he hath ever since used his best
Endeavours to apprehend the said Defendant but
hath hot been able till lately so to do and to
Compleat which this Deponent hath been at a
great deal of trouble and Expence
