Middlesex To wit


The Information of David Atkinson< no role > of
the Savoy an [..] Invalid and George
Maycock
< no role > of Marybone Carpenter
taken before me this 1st. day of June
1769

Who being upon Oath severally say, and first the said
George Maycock< no role > for himself saith that about seven
o' Clock last Night as he was at Work in a Field near
Mr. Mary le Bone aforesaid in Company with John Hall< no role >
and other Carpenters and Sawyers he observed two
Men Shooting at Swallows in an Adjacent Field, and that
a Quantity of Shot among the Wood where they were
at Work, says she then went up to the said two Men-
and desired them to go further ther off says that at this time
he had with him David Atkinson< no role > now present now present who also
lid them go about their Business telling them they
disturbed the Men who were at work, that he them
saw said Atkinson Rich a Powder horn with his foot
that Henry Webb< no role > now present Damned said Atkinson
and said he wou'd Shoot him, and that the Musket
which said Webb then had presented in his hand
immediately went opps and this Informant being at
about Eight Yards distance was Wounded in the
right Legg and Foot, and that he this Informant
afterwards took the Sum from him and this
Informt. David Atkinson< no role > for himself saith that
about the time aforesaid as he was going to Marybone
Gardens upon his Duty as one of the Patrole the
said Geor Maycock< no role > made Complaint to him of the
danger his and his Fellow Workmen were infrom
two Persons Shooting whereupon he went along
with him up [..] to them, and desired them to
desist
