At the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King holden for the County
of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in St.John Street
in the said County (by Adjournment) on Thursday
the twenty first day of October 1762. in the
second year of the Reign of King George
the Third.

It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer
of this County do pay to Mr. James Sturges Adames< no role >
Contractor for passing of Vagrants two pounds
Sixteen Shillings in full of his Account for Sub-
sistance of Vagrants since the last Session And
that the Receipt of the said Contractor together
with this Order shall be a sufficient discharge
to the said Treasure for such Payment.
