Stole from Mr. Porter of Parkers Lane about one dozen of
Small Casks which they Sold to said Clarke for six and eight
Shillings a piece, says that after this he and Robt. Everet< no role >
Stole from the doors of different Publick Houses about 20
or 30 Small Casks of different sizes and marks which they
Sold to said Clarke at the following Prizes viz. Kilderkins at
two Shillings, half Hogs heads at four, Barrells at five
Shillings, says after this he and George of Shorts Gardens
Stole from a Honn in Oxford Road the property of Mr.
Hucks two Butts which they Sold to said Clarke for 16s
says that after this he David Cooper< no role > and Terris Stole four
Butts from Mr. Iles which they Sold to said Clarke [..] for
one pound four Shillings being rather Old ones, says that
at that time Clarke Knowingly let them have his Dray to fetch
away the said Butts from Mr. Sles's Premisses and aloots
fetch three other Butts at another time from the same place
says that after this, he Robt. Everet and David Cooper< no role > Stole
from the Bottom of St. Martins Lane two Butts the property of Aldn [..]
Calvert one of which was Sold at a Private Honn near Leicester
Fields and concealed the other in an Alleg till the next Night
when said Clarke lent them his Horse and Dray to fetch
that and two others, the property of Mr. Mason, which they
Stole out of a Stable Yard near St. James's Square
says Clarke gave nine Shillings afrie [..] for the said three last
mentioned Butts, says that after this he this Informt. Wm. Mark< no role >
and David Cooper< no role > Stole four Butts from Silver Street two
the property of Mr. Gifford & two of Mr. Cox, which they fetched
to Clarks aforesaid with his own Dray and that Terris had
a share of the Money for sitting up, says that the same Night
they Stole three other Butts two from the Gravel Pitts and
one of Mrs. Hucks's from Compton Sheets, and that said Clarke
gave them seven half Guineas for there last seven Butts
they being all as good as new, says that after this he &
David Cooper< no role > Stole from [..] llow Street on Butt
