The Information of John Davis< no role > taken before me
one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for
the said County

Who being on Oath saith That [..] near One O' Clock on
Sunday Morning last the Ins was picked up by two Women
now Present who calls themselves Sarah Herbert< no role > & Mary
Bignel
< no role > who took him to a house in a Court in Middle
Row Holborn at which true this Ins had in his Pocket
Twenty Eight Shilling & Six Pence and in order to pay for a
Pint & ½ of Wine there this Ins pulled one the Whole
Money & paid One Shillg & Six Pence For the sd. Wine
and gave the sd. Women One Shillg & Six pence [..]
and the put the rest in his Pocket & soon after
the sd. Sarah took hold on the Ins hand & there hereof
Down on the Ground & Endeas said to pull this Ins with her
but not able the Sd. Mary pushed this Ins. down & fall herself
on him and which this Ins was so Confined by laying
between the sd. Women his Money was takes and upon
the Ins discovering his money was gone he called the
Land lord and apprehended the Women but the sd women
was not searched till they were brought to the watch
home [..] but the money was not found And the
Ins. further saith That as he had the money when in the
Room with the sd. women & there being no other Person
with him he verily bels. that they stole his Money when
he was threw down as aforesaid
