That he saw the deced this day 7 Night come
into the black boy between 10 & 11 at Night
Staggering into the House-The Witness was
then in the House & Mr. Evans & his Wife
both in the Bar Saw a Woman lead the
deced to a Seal & say he was hurted, The
deced laid himself on his side & say he believ'd
he was a dead Man but did not hear him
say who hurt him-Says he was one of these
who carried the Portuguese [..] to the Hospl: to there
the deced That the deced as soon as he
saw the Portugues said to him you Rogue
what did You Give me my death Wound
for & declared he was the Man-upon this
the Witness Says he tied the Portugys hands
believed him-says the Portugues other he
was taken had a small Blue Cockade in
his [..] Pocket wch. the Witness took & put
into the Portugues Hatt before the deced
