Sarah< no role > the Widow of the deced hath been
the deceds Wife 44 Years that at his death he was 60
Years of age-That he was not blind but [..] sighted
is the Night Beat now of late she hath led her husband
Home on Nights. That last Night abt. 6 she was leading
her Husband Home & coming up Diot Street on
empty Cart drawn by 2 or More Horses (but cannot say
wch.) turn'd short up the Street in Violence-the Driver
was on the Shafts of his Cart lasting his Horses says
she desired the Young than to stop his Horses for Xts.
take for he would run over her Husband-is not
positive the Young Man heard her-but his last'd
his Horses & went on fast-That her Husbands foot
Slipt in endeavouring to get out of the way & he fell
& the off Wheel went over his head & quasti'd his
Brains out-That she sav'd herself by falling backwds.
tho' she had always held of her husbands Hand Says
she ward a Woman cry out, for Gods take Stop,
[..] wch. the driver lash'd his Horses-she is certain
this Driver was on the Shafts of his Cart, when he
was called to, & when to lash'd his Horses. That her
Husbd. never Mov'd. was taken up dead & carried
to St. Giles Round House
