Who being on Oath says that on Saturday Night last [..]
three Persons came to this Informant's House to with two
Persons now present, and an absent Person who at
that Time appeared to belong to them says that between the
hours of ten and Eleven o Clock an Affray happened
arising from a Quarrell begun by a Person now present
who calls himself Dane, with one Eastgate and another
Gentleman , says that at last they began to Fight with
Sticks, says that he presently saw the said Dane upon his
Stairs with a drawn Sword in one hand and a Stick
in the other, and saw one Priestly now present in the
midst of the Affray, but did not see him the said Priestly
Strike any Person whatever or do any other particular
Offensive Act, says that soon after this the said Dane returned
into this Informant's back Room and declared without concern that he
had run a Man through the Shoulders having then his
drawn Sword in his hand
