says that about ten Minutes after this he got up & went
to the door to see if it Rained that on returning in again
he saw the aforesaid Dean's hands in Eastgate's Collar
Threatning to beat him, & assisting that he should not go
out of the House till he was well lickt, says that he
then endeavourned to passify Mr. Dane & that they then
returned into the House, set down by this Informt. & drank
a Glass of his Punch, & that Dane then retired to his own
Company in the said House, says that still hearing a Person
of said Dane's Company Aggravete said Dane to Quarrell
& fearing least some Mischief shou'd arise he went to Mr.
Scott's the black Lyon near the said House in Order to
get some Friends to take Mr. Eastgate out of said House

Words had passed between him & this Informt. he Struck at
this Informt. says that a general Confusion then asose
& that the Company began to Fright with Sticks
