The Information of John Thomas< no role > Mathew
Lane
< no role > Mary Hughs< no role > Sarah Mitchel< no role > and Wm Cross< no role > taken before
me one of this Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the Sd: County.

Who being severaly on Oath say and first the Sd: John Thomas< no role >
for himself saith that yesterday morning about three
o' Clockk a Silver Watch with a Steel Chain and two Seals
one set in Silver says and the other a Stone Seal Set in Mettal were Stolen out of his pocket but
how or in what manner they were Stolen this Informant
Cannot say and Saith that a Silver Watch now produced by
the Sd: Wm Cross< no role > is the Watch which was Stolen from him
as aforesaid And the sd: Mathew Lone for himself saith
that about Eleven o Clock yesterday morning he was
called out into the yard of the House of the Sd: MitchelMary Hugh
by a person now present who calls herself Elizth: Spencer< no role >
who shewed this Informt: a Steel Chain to which hung
a Seal set in Silver and another Common Seal And the
Sd: Spencer told this Informant we have Snapt a man of his Watch
of his Watch meaning as this Informt: believes that she the Sd Spencer
and a person now present who Calls herself Mary Hughs< no role >
and the Sd Spencer desired this Informt: to go to the Round
House where the Sd: Hughs was (who she Called by the name
of Nancy Lee< no role > ) and get the Watch from her for that she the
Sd: Spencer had given it to her, and upon this Informt:
refusing to Middle in the affair for fear of Trouble the
Sd Spencer told him that he might go to Jews Row
and dispose of it without fear of its being Stopt, and
upon selling it the money would get the Sd Hughs out
of Trouble And the Sd: Sarah Mitchel< no role > for herself saith
that about Six o Clock yesterday Morning the sd Spencer
told this Informt: that the Sd Hughs was confined in the
