Taken before me
this 23d. day of July 1761
Who being on Oath says that on Monday last about 3 o' Clock
in the Afternoon as he was passing through Church Lane
near
White Chapel
he met with a Woman now present, who calls
herself Sarah Buthway< no role >
who invited this Informant into a
House near which She was Standing, says he went in with
her accordingly, drank some Bear with her, and continued
in her Company about two hours, when on coming down Stairs
out of the said House he found himself Robbed of a
Silver Watch, and two pair of Silver Buckles, says he met at
the door of said House one Henry King< no role >
likewise now present
who went up Stairs with this Informant in Order to Search
for the goods he had been so Robbed of, where he found under the
Bolster of Bed in the Room where he had beer with the
aforesaid Sarah Buthway< no role >
, one pair of Silver Shoe Buckles
his property and of which he had Just before been Robbed &
farther says that he is very sure that the said Sarah
Buthway< no role >
is the Person who Robbed him of his Watch and
Buckles as aforesaid

Weaver
being upon
Oath says that he was present at finding the Buckles as
abovesaid & says that when he first met with the sd. Wm
Turner< no role >
he complained to this Informt. of having been Robbed
