Mr. Richard Davenport< no role > of St. Clement danes Surgeon , on
his Oath says that he heard Deced say that he entirely
acquitted the other Gentleman , and that he had brought
it upon himself, Deced said that the Pistols were
both presented at the same time, and that each of them
loaded his own Pistol or words to that effect and further Deponent saith that
he beleives the Wound to be the cause of the death of
the deced and lastly saith that the deced was very
Sensible and that he declared that he himself was the Agressor

Elizabeth Simpson< no role > of St. Martin's in the feilds , Spinster
on her Oath says that on Sunday the 10th of May Instant the
Deced and Mr. Brice came ino the Careigan head , Mr.
Brice came in first and came to the Bar and Capt. Jasper
followed him, and Capt Jasper left his Sword with the
Deponent, saying he did not know any business he had
to put it on, it was trouble some to walk inthey then
Call'd for a Pint of Madeira and went up Stairs and [..] about ½ an hour
after Deponent heard the Report of a Pistol, but Deponent
says that before she heard the Report of the Pistol she
