At the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the County of Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the
same County by Adjournment On Tuesday the thirty first Day of March
in the first Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third
by the Grace of God King of Great Britain Etc Before Thomas
Lane< no role > George Errington< no role > Merry Teshmaker< no role > & Francis Bedwell< no role > Esqrs
and others their follows Justices of our Said Lord the King assigned
to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid And also to hear and
determine diverse Feloines Trespasses and other misdeeds committed
in the Same County.

Whereas the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the Hamlet of Mile ends
New Town in the Parish of St. Dunstan's Stepney alias Stebunheath in the County of
Middx did at the General Session of the Peace holden for this County in February last
exhibit their Petition and Appeal to the Court Thereby setting forth That by a
Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of Walter Berry< no role > and Christopher Scott< no role >
Esqrs. two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (one being
of the Quorum) bearing date the 16th. day of February 1761 Hannah Simson< no role >
Wife of Isaac Simson< no role > now abroad in foreign parts with her three children to wit,
Ann< no role > aged Six Years Elizabeth< no role > aged upwards of three Years And William< no role > aged two
Years were removed from and out of the Hamlet of Mile end old Town Stepney in &
the said county of Middx unto the Hamlet of Mile End New Town aforesaid as
the Place of their last legal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves
aggrieved Which Appeal has been duly adjourned unto this day Now upon
hearing of the said Petition and Appeal And what was Alledged by Mr. Me. Pheadres< no role >
of Councel for the Appellants And by Mr Lane of Councell for the Respondents And also of
the respective Churchwardens and Overseers of the said Hamlets and their Witnesses
touching the Premisses This Court doth Allow of the said Appeal And doth
Vacate and Discharge the aforesaid Warrant or Order of the said two Justices of
the Peace And the same Warrant or Order is hereby vacated and discharged accordingly
And this Court doth further Order that the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the
Said Hamlet of Mile End New Town do forthwith Convey and Deliver the aforesaid Hannah
Simson< no role > and her said three Children unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Hamlet of Mile End Old Town or one of them with a Copy of this Order who are hereby required to
receive and Provide for the said Hannah Simson< no role > and her said three Children until
they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due Course of Law.
