Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of the peace for the County
of Middlesex in General Sessions of the peace assembled.

The Humble Petition of Wm: Jones< no role > Servant to Mr:
Henry Wallbanck< no role > late Keeper of the House of Correction at
Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex ,

Most Humbly Sheweth.


That Your Petitioner has Lived as Servant or
Under Keeper to the said Mr. Wallbanck upwards of Sixteen Years
and during almost Nine Years of the time has had the
Chief Care of the Goal on Account of Mr. Wallbancks Indisposition.

That Your Petitioner humbly hopes that he has
always behaved himself in such a manner to your Worships
and the Prisoners, as to entitle him your Worships Favour.

Therefore Your Petitioner humbly hopes your
Worship's will by pleased to appoint Your Petitr.
Keeper of the said House of Correction who if
should be so happy as to Succeed, will take Care
to Discharge the Duty which your Worships
shall be pleased to Entrust him with, with the
Greatest Care and Diligence and fidelity

And Yours Petitioner as in Duty bound
will ever Pray Etc
