The Information of Eliz< no role > wife of Francis Coffield< no role > taken
before me one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for
the said County

Who being upon Oath Saith That about a fortnight ago a Person
now present which calls herself Mary Macintear< no role > came into
the Lodgings of the Infand about an hour before the sd.
Mary came in to the sd. Boom this Infhad took some linnen
of a line and put them in a Basket among which was a Shift
and which the sd. Mary was in the Boom this Inf lay down
being not well and thes. sd Mary drew the Curtains round the
Bed and this Inf saw the sd. Mary put her hand into the
basket and as she them thought take some thus out and
upon Inspecting the sd Linnen she discovered a Shift to
be taking thereout And upon Apprehanding the sd
Mary oln Confessed the took the sd Shift and had cut
it up.
