September last Past The Jurors for our late Lord the King did
present tha on Monday the 17th Day of April in 33d year of the

Town House within and belonging to the said Hamlet,
lawfully and duly elected and chosen by the Inhabitants of
said Hamlet for the year then next ensuing the said

at the said Time when he was so elected

being a House-
-holder and Inhabitant and residing within the same Hamlet
which said Office the said

did absolutely refuse to
take his Oath for the Execution thereof And whereas at the
Request of the said
Peter Lord< no role >
I did Issue my Summons requiring
the Prosecutor of the said Indictment to attend me at a certain
Time in the said Summons mentioned to shew Cause why a Nole
Prosequi should not be entred on the said Indictment And I
having been accordingly attended by Councel on the Part of
the Prosecutor as well as Councel on the Part of the said
Peter Lord< no role >
and heard what was advanced on bothsides
and it appearing to me from the Same as well as from a
Warrant (produced to me) of his Majesty's Post Master Gent
that he the said

at the Time of his being so elected and
chosen to the said Office of
Constable
Head borough
was employed by the said
Post Master General as a Letter Receives
at Blackwall
aforesaidand therefore not liable or
Compellable to serve the said Office of
Constable

hereby Authorize and Require you to Enter or cause to be
entred a Nole Prosequi upon the said Indictment and foresaid doing
