This Honble. Court on the said Indictment for the said
Misdemeanour when these Depts: receiv'd Answer from
the said Mrs. Unthank and others that the said
Mary and Terence Shortney< no role >
were run away that
they had heard they had been seen (or had heard they
Lodged) in Queen Street
to Westminster
& that they had
Shipt the sd. Mr. Unthank's Lodgings, Accordingly
these Depts. went in to Queen Street
aforesaid and
Enquired at all the Lodging house there and as
several other places which were likely to discover
the said Mary or Terence Shortney< no role >
to give them
Notice as aforesaid but these Depts. could not find
them And these Depts. beleive [..]
the said Mary and Terence Shortney< no role >
have
Absconded and Sacrated themselves and cannot be
served with Notice that the sd. Deft John Morris< no role >
is willing and ready to take his Tryal and that the
said Mary Shortney< no role >
cannot be Apprehended
by Processon the sd. Indictment for the said
Perjury to take her Tryal.
