At the General Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of
Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment on Thursday the
sixteenth day of September in the thirtieth Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the
second King of Great Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > George Errington< no role > Bartholomew
Hammond
< no role > Jacob Harvey< no role > Esqrs . and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King
assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens [..] and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Mildred in the Poultry London exhibited their humble Petition and Appeal unto
the County of the last General Quarter Session of the Peace holden for the County of
Middx by adjournment on Tuesday the thirteenth day of July last Setting forth That
by a Warrant or Order dated the fifth day of June last under the Hands and Seals
of John Cox< no role > and Stephen Clarke< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middx (one whereof being of the Quorum) Alice Lacey< no role > Wife of Peter
Lacey
< no role > (who is gone away and not to be found) with Catherine< no role > their Child aged four Years
and upwards were removed and conveyed out of the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields in
the County of Middx aforesaid to the Parish of St. Mildred in the Poultry aforesaid
Whereupon it was by an Order made by the same Court on the said thirteenth day of
July last Ordered that the benefit of the said Appeal should be saved unto the
Petitioners and that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. Giles in the Fields aforesaid and all Parties concerned should attend this Court on
this present Thursday the sixteenth day of September instant at ten of the Clock
in the Forenoon to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination of this Court
touching the said Appeal Now forasmuch as this Court is of Opinion to have the
hearing of the said Appeal adjourned It is Ordered by this Court that the
hearing and determining the Matter of the said Appeal be and the same is
hereby adjourned untill the next General Quarter Session of the Peace to
be holden for the county of Middx And that the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Giles in the Fields (upon Notice of this Order)
and all Persons concerned do attend the Court of the said next General Quarter Session
of the Peace to be holden for the said County of Middx by adjournment on Thursday
the twenty first day of October next at nine of the Clock in the forenoon to
hear and abide the Judgment and Determination of the same Court touching the
said Appeal.
