At the General Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of
Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment on Thursday the
Sixteenth day of September in the thirtieth Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the
second King of Great Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > George Errington< no role > Jacob Harvey< no role >
Bartholomew Hammond< no role > Esqrs . and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King
assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers Felonies
Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Leachlade in the
County of Gloucester exhibited their humble Petition and Appeal unto this Court Setting forth That
by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hand and Seal of William Withers< no role > Esqr. one
of his Majestys Justices of the of the Peace for the County of Middx bearing date the thirty
first day of July last Mary Haven< no role > Widow of Joseph Haven< no role > deceased and her two Children
namely Joseph< no role > aged about four Years and Mary< no role > aged about two Years were conveyed from
and out of the Parish of St. Luke in the said County of Middx to the said Parish of
Leachlade in their Way and from thence to be forwarded to the Parish of St. James at
Isleworth in the said County of Gloucester as the Placeof the Placeof their last legal
Settlement And that there is not any such Place as the Parish of St. James Isleworth in
the County of Gloucester and therefore the said Mary Haven< no role > and her said two
Children could not be forwarded as the said Pass Warrant or Order directs by which
means they are now became chargeable and burthensome to the said Parish of Leachlade
Which Appeal was appointed to be heard on this present Thursday the sixteenth day of
September instant Now upon hearing of what was alledged by Mr. Serjeant
Hayward of Council for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of St. Luke and also by Mr. Lane of Council for the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of Learchlade This Court doth allow of the said Appeal
and doth vacate and discharge the aforesaid Pass Warrant or Order of the said Justice of
the Peace and the same is hereby vacated and discharged accordingly.
