At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the
County of Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment on
Thursday the twenty first day of April in the thirtieth Year of the reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the second King of Great Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > George Errington< no role >
Bartholomew Hammond< no role > Francis Bedwell< no role > Esqr . and others their Fellows Justices of our said
Lord the King assigned to Keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and
determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Heston in the County of
Middx exhibited their humble Petition and Appeal unto the Court of the last General Session of
the Peace holden for the said County by adjournment on Thursday the twenty fourth day of
February last Setting forth That by a Warrant or Order bearing date the twenty seventh day
of January last past under the Hands and Seals of Thomas Bleucowe< no role > and George Tash< no role >
Esqrs . two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middx (one whereof
being of the Quorum) Robert Cooper< no role > and Lidia< no role > his Wife were removed from the Parish
of Harmondsworth in the said County of Middx to the said Parish of Heston as the
Place of their last legal Settlement And that the Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved by the said Order of the said two Justices did appeal against the same
Whereupon it was by an Order made by the same Court on the said twenty fourth day of February
last Ordered that the hearing and determining the Matter of the said Appeal should be and
the same was thereby adjourned untill the then next (to wit) this present General Quarter Session
of the Peace holden for the said County and the said Appeal was appointed to be heard on
this present Thursday the twenty first day of April instant Now upon hearing of what was
alledged by Mr. Serjeant Hayward of Council for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Harmondsworth and also by Mr. Lane of Council for the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Hesten This Court being of
Opinion further to adjourn the hearing of the said Appeal Doth Order that the hearing and
determining the Matter of the said Appeal be and the same is hereby further adjourned untill
the next General Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County And that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of both the said Parishes and all Persons concerned do attend the Court
of the said next General Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County on Tuesday the
twenty fourth day of Mary next at ten of the Clock in the Forenoon to hear and abide the
Judgment and Determination of the same Court touching the said Appeal.
