These are to Certify That William Tally< no role > of Hampton Wick in the County of Middx
Wheelwright hath given Security by Bond to Indempnify the Inhabitants and parishoners
of Hampton Wick aforesaid from all Costs and Expences that may hereafter arise touching a
Bastard Child or Children with which Sarah Merchant< no role > Singlewoman is now big and of
which the said William Tally is charged to be the Father And we do hereby consent that
the said William Tally may be Discharged from the Recognizance entered into by him
touching the begetting the said Sarah Merchant with Child or Children as aforesaid
Dated this Eighth day of December 1755.
