& Swearing The Husband at the Wife for Giving
her Mony to Fidlers & the wife cursing & Dancing
the Husband for interrupting her & because he did
not seem to like its & came up to the Husband in another Box & Gave him several Blows with her First That the Husbd then never offered to strike her again butThe Husband thenask'd the
Wife for Key to Go Home it was abt. 9 at Night
The Deced Damn'd him & told him he shd. not have it
The Husband then Got up to her & Struck her as he
Thinks abt. the Jaw Bone with his Right Hand That
he seem'd to Strike her pretty hard. That he Gave her
only one Blow. That she was Sitting in the Tap Room
near the Fire & soon after the Blow full to the Ground
upon her Face That she directly after the Fall Gave
a little Then upon her Back & Gave two or three Rattles
in the Throat & Died withh. speaking a Word. That
the Husband came & raised her Head up & Call'd
for Water to Wash her Face & some Blood of her Forehead
That the Company Thinking she was Dead he said
he Thot. not & said but little. That the Deced appear'd
to be Liquor & that she was in his Opinion as Liquor
when first he came into the House.
