To the Rt. Worshipfull His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or order Under the
Hands and Seals of John Cox< no role > and Stephen Clerke< no role > Esqr. two of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (one being of
the Quorum) bearing date the 19th. day of June 1755 Thomas
Hawkesley
< no role > and his two Children by Alice< no role > his late Wife deced
Virt. Roger< no role > aged Seven Years & a half & upward and
Mary Kendall< no role > aged three Years & upward were removed
from the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields in the County of
Middlesex to the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the said County as the place
of their last legal Settlement Whereby Your Petitioners
think themselves Aggrieved and appeal to this Court Against
the same

Your Petitioner therefore Humbly Pray
this Court will Please to appoint a time
for hearing & determining the siad Appeal
and that all Persons concerned May then
Attend.

And Your Petitioner Shall ever Pray Etc.
