two lived to reconver That after he has hit them
on the Head [..] his Whip or Stick yt he has gone away
for two or three Days to see if they wou'd recon
over as the Depont verily believes & Walker has added if
I do not come in time Kill them & bury them
& send me Notice of its And this Depont further
Saith that the sd Walker was not Present when great
part of the 20 or 21 cows of th sd. Stretton were Killed
Sleshed & Buried and further says that [..] a Person
often did set up in the Nights to see they did net die
& Wm. impossible to recouver to knock them on the
head so as by yt Means they May be inbitled to
the Bounty Mony & yt he beleives the sd. Walker
knew this was often done And that wn sd wal:
ker was sent for to to view the inferted Cattle he
Seldom Killed any directly unless he found itt very
improbable they cou'd recouver

And this Depont. Further says that ye sd Walker
bought four Cows in sept. last as he beleives from a Feild adjoyning to Mr
Pullens att ye same time Mr Pullen was burying
Cows wd. did of the Infection as Mr Pullen in for
med this Depont and yt Mr Pullen told yr sd Walker
of itt & told time itt was a Shame & Walker said
I want Cows or Milk from my Customers & I must have
them & as this Depont. beleives the sd. Walker in
monved them from Mr Pullens att Islington to
One of the sd Walker Fields att Lambs Conduct
And this Depont Further says yt he has been in
formed & Verily beleives yt ye sd Stretton recd
the Bounty Mony for 20 of his sd Cows:
