The Fleet to wit


William La Chaux< no role > on the 11th. day of May 1754 was Comitted to his
Maty's Prison of the Fleet by Sr . Edwd. Clive< no role > Senr . one of the Justices Etc upon
a Writ of Habeas Corpus directed to the Sheriff of Middlesex with the
Cause in the Return to the Said Writ menconed To which sd Writ the sd.
Sheriff Certified & returned That on the 8th. day of May in the 27th. year
of his Present Maty's reign the Said William La Chaux< no role > was taken &.
detained by him the Said Sheriff by Virtue of his Maty's Writ of Capias
against him by the name of William Le Chape< no role > . gentleman returnable before the King Instanes of Westminster from the day of
Easter in one Month to answer Thomas Wilson< no role > Eleanor Lloyd< no role > Phillip
Smith
< no role > William Keate< no role > & Lewis Morgan< no role > of a Plea of Tresspass on the Case
on Assumption damage £40. Oath £14.
