Do Humbly Present

The Pavement in many of the
Publik Streets of this City and Liberty to be in
a very ruinous, and bad Condition

And Also, that there are, in
many of the streets, Large heaps of dirt, and
rubbish Which for want of Proper Lights
being put out at Nights, According to the
Statute in that Case made and Provided
And Other Proper Precautions Greatly
endanger and Hazard The limbs and lives
of many of his Majesty's Subjects
