At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King
holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St. John Street in the
County aforesaid by adjornmt on Thursday the Seventeenth day of Janry
in the twenty seventh year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the Second King of Great Britain Etc before Luke Robinson< no role > George
Errington
< no role > John Dekewer< no role > Walter Berry< no role > Esqrs and other their Fellows
Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the
County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers Felonies
Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same County

Upon hearing of the appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Mary Le Strand in the County of Middx .
against an Order under the hands and seals of Thomas Quarrill< no role > and
Richard Riccards< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the peace for
the County of Middx (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the
fifth day of January instant whereby Ann Delap< no role > Wife of William
Delap
< no role > who was [..] then in Parts beyond the Sea) and their two Children
Vizt. Joseph< no role > aged [..] almost five years and William< no role > aged almost two years
which said Mary [..] and the two Children were likely to [..] become chargeable to the Parish of St. Mary Whitechapel
in the County of Middx ,werewere removed from the said Parish of St. Mary
Whitechapel to the said parish of St. Mary Le Strand as the place of
theirtheir last legal Settlement And upon hearing of Mr. Stowe of Councel
for the said appellants,and also on hearingThis Court by Consent of Mr. [..] Phedris of Councel
for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of
St. Mary Whitechapel doth allow of the said appeal and doth vacate
and discharge the aforesaid Order of Removal and the same is
hereby vacated and discharged accordingly And this Court doth
Order that the Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of St. Mary
Le Strand do forthwith convey and deliver the said Ann Delap
and her said two Children to the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the said Parish of St. Mary Whitechappel or one of them with copy of this order who are
hereby required to recieve the said Ann Delap and her said two
Children into their Care and to provide for them as for other
poor at the Charge of the Inhabitants of the said Parish of St.
Mary Whitechapel , untill they can free themselves from the
charge thereof by due course of Law
