To The Rt. Honble. The Lord Mayor and the rest of
the Worshipfull his majestys Justices in their general Session of
Gaol Delivery for the County of Middlesex Assembled

The Humble Petition of Thomas Cole< no role >

Sheweth
That your petitioner on the 28th. day of December 1753 was
Committed to his majestys Gaol of Newgate for the County of middlesex
by Henry Fielding< no role > Esquire one of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for
the said County being charged before him on the Oath of Jonathan monkhouse< no role >
for feloniously selling a certain peice of counterfeited milled money
resembling a moidore not cut in peices for a less Value than by its
Denomination the same did Import and was counter feited for Contrary
to the Statute

Yor. petr. therefore most Humbly prays that He may
at this present session of Gaol Delivery holden for the
county aforesaid, be either Tried Trailed or Discharged
for the Offence aforesaid pursuant to the statute in
such case made and provided
