maketh Oath and Saith that some
short time before the last sessions at the Old Bailey
a person came
to his this Deponents shop who said her named was Cassandra
mould< no role >
and pledged a silver watch with him this Deponent for the
sum of One Pound and One Shilling And this Deponent saith
that some short time afterwards one Thomas Oliver< no role >
being
apprehended and taken into Custody for Stealing of the said
watch he this Deponent being informed thereof by the prosecutor

who also desired him this Deponent to go and prove
the pledging of the said watch before Mr. Justice Fielding
which he this Deponent accordingly did and was by the said
Justice bound over to give Evidence at the then next ensuing
Sessions And this Deponent also saith that at the their next
Sessions held at Hicke's Hall he this Deponent attended and
a Bill of Indictment being found against the said Thomas

he this Deponent went to the Old Bailey
and Attended
there a whole day but the Tryal did not then come on, And
further saith that he this Deponent was at the same time
very much indisposed get nevertheless he this Deponent went
again the next morning being theTenthEighth day of December last
betwixt the hours of Nine and Ten of the Clock in the morning
and when he this Deponent came into Court to give Evidence
the said Thomas Oliver< no role >
had been tryd and cast for transportation
And this Deponents Recognizance Ordered by the Court to be
Estreated for his non attendance
