County of Middx on view of the Body of-

Tho: Depont Smith that on Monday the 18th
of November last bring in the Fields near
Tottenham Court Road he observed a Crowd
of people together that having the curiously
to know the occasion he went up to them
that when he came up was told that two
Men were going to box for a wager that
he went wth them to the place appointed-
& Saw them Shake hands before they begum
to Engage says that he heard one of them
whose name Dept was since told was George
Willn) say he would fight as long us he had
any breath in his body further says that
they fought wth great Fury for above half an
hour & gave each other Several fulls
says they were as length both disabled-
that after some time George Willet< no role > was-
taken & camed to Mr Hoods in Great Ormond
Yard where he died in a vizt little time says
that both the said Willet & the other Combatane
Whose name Dept has been Since told is Luke Balls< no role >
were in good health before they began to fight

Both depose to the same effect with the
