Dennis Bohun< no role > of St. Giles CooperMan Maketh Oath & saith that he
was present when the Oysterman came in and declares as the former
Witness Wm. Pearson< no role > Only remember that after he had Stab'd the Deced
and was presented from making his Escape heard him say that he
would Stab the first Man that would not let him go

Wm. Gee< no role > the Master of the Green [..] Man Alehouse Declares as the first
witness and was before the Justice & heard him say that the Deced had
beat him with a poker or barr and that he fell on his Knife
But this Depont. Says that the Deced had no Weapon at all in his
hands

John Rabit< no role > of Church Lane St. Giless Wheelright at Maketh Oath & saith
that on Saturday Night be went to Mr. Goos to look after the Deced Eneas
Tarney
< no role > to Know if he had done his Cloaths and just as he went into the
Room he saw the Deced and anor. Man having a Scuffle together, And saw
them both fall and the Deced was then Uppermost, and that the Man
that was Undermost had hold of the Deceaseds Collar with his left
hand, Says that one in Company Sd. Tarney why dont you get up, But
he replyed he will not let me, But as Mr. Gee was taking of him up
to saw the Mans right hand move as if he was pushing at the Deced
And that just before he got up he this Depont. observed the Body of the
Deced to have a Shivering whichwashe thought was a little Uncommon
as he this Depont. thought then, Says that he Imediately fell down
and never Spoke as to heard, as was Dead; Says then the Man
Endeavoured to make his Escape, But he this Depont took hold of
him by the Collar & brought him in and & hit him several hard blows
and Mr. Pearson then took away his Knife from his Side
