To the Rt. Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary Le Bone in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and
Seals of Philip Dyet< no role > and John Machin< no role > Esqrs. two of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex (one where of being of the Qurround [..]
28th. day of June 1753 Martha Wilks< no role > widow of Richard Wilks< no role > was Re [..]
the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex to the parish to of St.
Mary Le Bone in the said County as the place of her last legal Settlement

Whereby your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved and Appeal to
this Court against the Same

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly pray that the benefit
of the said Appeal may be saved unto them, and that the
hearing and determining thereof may be adjourned
until the next General Quarter Session of the peace [..]
beheld for this County
