Harrissons Denyal to Let the sd. Piece of Land or any Part thereof
Though the sd. Scavengers were Ready & Willing to make him a -
Reasonable Satisfaction for the Same and therefore Craved our aid &
Assistance in the Premes and Whereas We the sd. Justices on the 15th.
Day of June Instant (upon the Complaints being exhibited to us as afsd.)
Did duely Summon him the sd. Danl. Harrisson to be & appear before
us at this our Petty Sessions Assembled to answer the sd Complaint
of the Scavengers & Raker, and to Shew Cause why the said Scavenger's
and Raker Should not have Liberty to make Use of & to Lodge their
Dirt Dust, Ashes, or other Filth upon his the said Danl. Harrissons
said Land at the Bottom of Grays Inn Lane asafsd. as being a-
Convenient Vacant & publick Place for that Purpose Pursuant to the
Statue in that Case made & Provided: They the sd. Scavengers &
Raker being ready & Willing to make him the said Danl. Harrisson
Satisfaction for the Use thereof which sd. Summons was duely Servd
upon the said Danl. Harrisson< no role > ; But he refused to give Liberty to the sd.
Scavengers & Raker to make use of & Lodge their Dirt Dust Ashes
or other filth on the said Land or any part thereof or to Contract
or agree with them or any of them for the hire thereof

And at this Petty Sessions appeared before us the sd. Justices as
well the sd. Scavengers & Raker as also the sd. Danl. Harrisson< no role > And
the sd. Complaint being read the sd. Danl. Harrisson refused to agree
to permit the sd. Scavengers & Raker or any of them to Lodge their dirt
Dust Ashes or other filth in or upon any Part of his sd. Field; Now
Upon hearing & examining as well of the sd. Silver Crispin< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. Silveras of the
said Danl. Harrisson< no role > an Oath as also Sevl. other Witnesses as well
on the Part of the sd. Complaints as also on the part of the said
Danl. Harrisson< no role > on oath before us at this Petty Sessions; And on
hearing what was alledged by Council on both Sides and on due
Consideration had of the Matter We the said Justices Do
Adjudge the sd. field of the sd. Danl. Harrisson to be a proper & Convenient
Vacant & Publick Place in which to Lodge the said Dirt Dust & Ashes &
other Filth and near the Streets & High Ways within the sd. Parishes
