At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County
of Middx at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment on Thursday the
eighteenth day of April in the twenty fourth Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second
King of Great Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > Peter Elen< no role > William withers< no role > John Lawton< no role > Esquires
and other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in
the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of All Hallows the
Great London have exhibited their humble Petition and Appeal unto this Court Setting forth That b [..]
an Order or Pass Warrant under the hands and Seals of Ebenezer Mussell< no role > Esquire and Sir [..]
Samuel Gower< no role > Knight two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middx
(one being of the Quorum) bearing date the twelfth day of February last William Atwood< no role >
Elizabeth< no role > his Wife and their Child named Richard< no role > aged eight Years were removed from the
Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the said County of Middx to the said Parish of
All Hallows the Great as the Place of their last legal Settlement And that the Petitioners
humbly thinking themselves aggrieved by the Judgment of the said two Justices appeal to
this Court against the said Order Whereupon at the request of the Petitioners It is
Ordered by this Court that the benefit of the said Appeal be saved unto them And that the
hearing and determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned untill the next General
Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County of Middx And that the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch (upon Notice of
this Order) and all Persons concerned do attend the Court of the said next General Session of
the Peace to be holden for the said County of Middx by adjournment on Thursday the
twenty third day of May next at ten of the Clock in the Forenoon to hear and abide the
Judgment and Determination of the same Court touching the said Appeal
