to the Parishes of St. Giles in the Fields & St. George
Bloomsbury in the County of Middx Mateth Oath
that on or about the twenty Second day of Septemr.
last one Elizabeth Jones< no role > was sent into the said Work house
by one of theOverseers of the PoorChurchwardens of the said parish
of St. Geo. Bloomsbury the said Elizabeth Jones< no role > having
(as this Deponent hath been informed & verily believes)
been Delivered of a Child in Queen Street in the said
parish some small time before she was sent into the
said Workhouse, That the said Elizabeth Jones< no role > hath
been Detained in the said Workhouse & Maintained
there with her said Child from that time to the 29th
day of November last when she was by Order of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parishes carryed before Geo. Errington< no role > Esqr. one of His
Majesty's Justices of the peace for this County who
(as this Depont. has heard & believes) Examined her &
Committed her to the house of Correction at Clerken-
well , That the Common charge made for the
Months lying in of any Woman in the said
Workhouse in Forty Shillings & according to
the Common Calculation of the Charge of Maintain-
ing the poor in the said Workhouse each person
stands the said Parishes in about One & twenty Pene [..]
