At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our sovereign Lord the
king holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St. John Street
in the County aforesaid on Tuesday in the week next after the Feast of
the Epiphany (to wit) the tenth day of January in the twenty second year
of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the second King of Great
Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > Merry Teshmaker< no role > John Lawton< no role > Walton

< no role > Esquires & other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King
assigned to keep the peace in the County aforesaid and also to he an
& determine divers felonys trespasses & other misdeeds committed in the
same County,

Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the parish
St. Bartholomew by the Exchange in the City of London have exhib [..]
their humble petition & appeal unto this Court setting forth
That by virtue of an Order or pass warrant under the hands & seal
of James Clitherow< no role > & John Awsiter< no role > esquires two of his Majesy's Justices
of the peace for the County of Middx (one whereof being of the Quorum
bearing date the twenty third day of [..] December one thousand seven
hundred and forty [..] eight Henry Berrow< no role > was [..]
removed from the parish of Ealing in the County of Middx unto the said
parish of St. Bartholomew by the Exchange London alledging the said parish
St. Bartholomew to be the pl [..] of his last legal settlement, And that the
Petitioners conceiving themselves agrieved by the said Warrant or Order
of the said two Justices do therefore appeal to this Court therefrom,
Whereupon at the request of the petitioners It is Ordered by this Court
that the benefit of the said appeal be saved unto them, And that the hearing
& determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjorned untill the next
General Quarter Session of the peace to be holden for the said County of Middx
And that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Ealing (upon
Service of a copy of thisnotice of this Order) and all person concerned do attend the
Court of the said next General Quarter Session of the peace to be holden for the said
County by adjornment on Tuesday the fourth day of April next at ten of the clock in
the forenoon to hear & abide the Judgment & determination of the same Court
touching the said appeal,
