Middlesex to wit


Robert Brazier< no role > of Ratcliffe in the parish of
Saint Dunstan Stepney in the County of Middlesex Gunsmith
maketh Oath that some time before the last September
Sessions he made Enquiry of Captain Christopher Huddy< no role >
one of the Owners of the Saltash Privateer (whereof the
abovenamed George Powell< no role > was Commander) after the said
George Powell< no role > when this Deponent was informed by
the said Captain Huddy that he verily beleived the said
Ship with her said Comander & Crew were lost, and this
Deponent farther saith that about a Week ago he saw
the said Captain Huddy & again Inquired of him after the
said George Powell< no role > when the said Captain Huddy again
informed this Deponent that neither he or any other of the
Owners of the said Privateer had ever heard any thing of
her or her said Comander George Powell< no role > since the last time
she sailed out of the Downs upon a Cruize against the
French & Spainards which was about Twelve months ago
& that he said Captain Huddy & all the Owners of the said
Privateer verily beleive that the said George Powell< no role > &
the said Privateer & Crew are lost which this Dept: beleives
to be true
