At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the
King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St. John Street in
the County aforesaid on Monday the Fourth day of July in the twenty
second year of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the Second
King of Great Britain Etc before Thopence Samuel Taken< no role > John
Lawton< no role > & Walter Berry< no role > Esquires & other their Fellows Justices of
our said Lord the King Assigned to keep the peace in the County aforesaid
and also to hear & detemine divers felonys trespasses & other misdeeds
comitted in the same County.

Overseers of the poor of the parish of Nacton in the County of Suffolk
against an Order under the hands & seals of William Pickering< no role > and
to Richardson Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the
City and Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middx dated the twenty
seventh day of June one thousand seven hundred and forty eight whereby
Phillis Smith< no role > widow and her two Children Namely William< no role > aged upwards
of ten years and Grace< no role > aged upwards of eight years were removed from
the parish of St. James within the Liberty of Westminster in the said County
of Middx to the said Parish of Nacton in the County of Suffolk , which appeal
Setforth that the Appellants find themselves aggreived by the said order of
removal and humbly appeal against the same to this Court whereupon at
the request of thepetitioner It is Ordered by thissaid Appellants It is Ordered
by this Court that the benefit of the said appeal be saved unto them, and that
the hearing & determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned
the next General Quarter Session of the peace Sochilden for the [..]
Middx, And that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the parish
of St. James (upon notice of this Order) and all persons concerned to attend this
Court of the Said next General Quarter Session of the peace to be person for the
Said County of Middx by adjornment on Tuesday the seventh
