Whereas Complaint has been made by you the Church-wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Luke
unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(Whereof one is of the Quorum) for the County of Middx aforesaid,
That

lately intruded and come into your said Parish of Saint Luke
there to inhabit asParishioners contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, and are there like to become Charge-
able, if not timely prevented : And whereas, upon due Examination
and Enquiry made into the Premises, upon Oath and other
Circumstances
it appears unto, us and we accordingly adjudge, That the said

like to become Chargeable unto the said Parish of Saint Luke
and that the last legal Place
of Settlement of the said

is in the said Parish of
Saint George Southwark
These are therefore in his Majsty's name, to order and require you
the said Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
Saint Luke
aforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said

wife two Children
from your said Parish of saint Luke
to the said Parish of St George
Southwark
and them deliver
to the Church-wardens or Overseers of the Poor there, or some or one
of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true Copy
thereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's Name,
And by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to receive the
said
