holden on for the County of Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County
aforesaid by adjournment on Saturday the twenty third Day of April in
the twenty first year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the

Whereas

Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > hath this Dayhavingpleaded Not Guilty to an Indictment against her for
unlawfully buying and getting into her Possesion for the Sum of five Shillings
one Piece of lawfull Silver Coin of this [..] Geal MKingdomcalled a Six pence altered
by raising Scepters thereon and coloured over with certain Materials producing
the Colour of Gold to resemble a Piece of lawful Gold Coin of this Kingdom called
a half Guinea with intent the Said Piece So coloured over as aforesaid to atter:
and tender in payment to the Subjects of our Said Lord the King She the Said
Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > well knowing the Same to be false and Counterfeil AndThe Said
Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > having alsohath also this day pleaded not guilty to another Indictment against
her for buying and getting into her Possesion for the Sum of five Shillings one
Piece of lawfull Silver Coin of this Kingdom called a Shilling altered by raising
Scepters thereon and coloured over with certain Materials producing the

payment to a certain Person unknown one Piece of Silver Coin of this Realm called a Six pence altered by
raising Teapters thereon and coloured over with certain Materials producing the

and Counterfect the the said Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > is Committed to New Prison at Clerkenwell in this Count for want of Sureties for
her personal appearance at the next Session of Oyer & Terminer to be hold enfore [..]
this County to try her respective Traverses upon the Said respective Indictments, And is
is ordered by this Court that the Said Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > do find such sureties before Sir Samuel Gower< no role > Kt and Richard Ricards< no role > Esqr. two of his Majestys
