The Humble Petition of John Rance< no role > one of the
High Constables of Stanes Division in the Hundred of
Spelthorne in this County

Sheweth

That Your Petitioner hath Served the Office of
High Constable for the Space of two Years and that he is
very Infirm and greatly Afflicted with the Gent and is
thereby render'd incapable of doing his Duty therefore desires
to be Discharged from the same And he returns Edward
Hastler< no role > of the Parish of Stanes Grocer and William
Lewis< no role > of the same place Inn: holder to serve the sd. Office
in his stead.

Your Petitioner therefore begs that one of the
above persons may be appointed in this stead and that he
may be Discharged and as in Duty bound he shall ever
pray Etc

of the Peace for the sd. County Acting
for the sd. Division Do approve of
the above Petition
