The Petition from The Gentlemen , Farmers & others
of the County of Essex relating to suckling Calves,
Mr. Hows Letter about Commons being sent to the
Gentlemen by Mr. Lune; Sr, John Crosse< no role > drew up
a Representacon thereupon to The Privy Council,
recommending the prohibiting the Sale of lean
Cattle as was done by the order of Council of 17th,
of Decr . 1746, & ordered me to make a fair
Copy of same & get it signed & leave it with
Mr. Sharpe at The Cockpit

June 1st.

Houses to sign same, & Mr. Sharpe at The

Deputy Gov. & The Treasurer of The New Liver
Company at Garraways Coffee House in Exchange
Alley when they informed me that se. infected
Beasts had been buried in their Gravel Pitts
near The New River Head & that they were
fearfull the infe [..] unget be communicated to the Waler
& Mr. Colebrooke ordered me to inquire into the
Affair & to find out the names of The People
who [..] buried their [..] attend him}
