A Register (pursuant to an Act of Parliament in such Case made) containing a
particular of the Estate (thereunder specified) of Thomas Burdus< no role > Esqr. one of his Majestys Justices
of the peace for the County of Middlesex by him delivered into the Court of General Quarter Sessions
of the paece holden at Hicks hall in St. John Street in and for the said County by adjornment on
Wednesday the fifteenth day of October in the twentieth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the Second King of Great Britain Etc . before Samuel Tufnell< no role > and Thomas Ellys< no role > Esqrs. and other [..]
their Fellow Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the County aforesaid
And also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the
Same County. to be there Registered, pursuant to the direction of the said Act Parliament [..]
which Act was made in the eighteenth year of his present Majesties reign and is intituted, An
Act to amend and render more effectual an Act, passed in the fifth year of his present
Majesty's Reign intituted, an Act for the further Qualification of Justices of the peace,
Which Estate is described and Registerd at the said Sessions, as followeth, to wit, Several
Free held Messnaged or Tenements and Lands in the several Parish of Saint Oswald Saint Giles and
whickham in the County of Durham , The Manor and Royalties of Inddee and all the
Coal Mynes within the said Manor in the parish of Branspeth in the same County being
Freehold of Inheritance And also several Copyhold Messuages Tenements and Hereditament [..]
in the parish of Saint Oswald aforesaid and Lanchester in the said County, And also diverse [..]
Freehold Cole Mynes and Hereditaments in the parish of Chester in the Street, And also
diverse Castomary Messuages Lands and Tenements of Inheritance in the parishes of
Stanhope and Eaglescliffe in the said County, All which are in the possession or Occupation of
the said Thomas Burdus< no role > his Tenants or Agents All which Lands Hereditaments and
premisses the said Thomas Burdus< no role > now hath to his own vise and Benefit and the Same
together are in the whole of the clear yearly value of One hundred pounds and upwards over
and above what will satisfie and discharge all Incumbrances that affect the same and over and
above all Rents and Charges payable out of or in respect of the same

And I the abovenamed Thomas Burdus< no role > do swear that I truly and bonafide, have such
an Estate in Law or Equity to and for my own Use and Benefit consisting of the Messuages
Lands Hereditaments and premisses above described and registred as doth quality meto act [..]
as a Justice of the peace for the County of Middlesex according to the true Intent and Meaning
of an Act of Parliament made in the eighteenth year of the reign of his Majesty King George
the Second intituled An Act to a mend and render more effectual an Act passed in the
fifth year of his present Majesty's Regin, intituled, An Act for the further
Qualification of Justices of the peace , And that the Same are lying or being within
the Manor and parished above mentioned

Sworn by the abovenamed Thomas Burdus< no role > in the Court of General
Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for the County of Middlesex at
the place and on the day and year first abovewritten
