General Quarter Sessions Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church-
-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. James within the Liberty of Westminster in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the
hands and Seals of John Milner< no role > and R: Midford Esqrs. two of [..]
Majesties Justices of the peace for the County of Middlsex be [..]
date the 20th. Day of September 1736 Thomas Evans< no role > was-
Removed from the Parish of St. Giles in the Feilds in the said
County to the said Parish St. James as the place of the last
legal Settlemt. of the said Thomas Evans< no role > whereby your
Petitioners think themselves Aggrieved
