Ad the General Session of the peace of our Sovereign Lord the King
holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St. John Street in the
County aforesaid on Monday the twenty third day of February in
the ninth yeare of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the
second King of Great Britain Etc

It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby recomended and
referred unto Thomas Deveil< no role > and John Mencer< no role > Esquires two of his
Maties Justices of the peace for this County to sumon before them the
Church wardens & Overseers of the poor of the parishes of St. Martin
in the fields and St. Giles in the fields in the said County and to
examine into the truth of the matters alledged in the within written
Petition and to make such Order & determination touching the
premisses Specifyed in the said petition as to the said two Justices
shall seem meet, Or otherwise to report their opinions touching the
same to the Court of the next General Quarter Sessions of the peace
to be holden for this County to the end such further Order may be
made as the Court shall think proper
