Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish ofSt. Clements
Danesunto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(whereof one is of the Quorum) for theCountyaforesaid,
That
Richard Haynes< no role > Mary< no role > his Wife & Thomas< no role >
their Son aged abt 8 Months have
lately intrudedthemselvesinto your said Parish ofSt. Clements
Danes
there to inhabit asParishionerscontrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, andarethere like to become charge
able, if not timely prevented: And whereas, upon due Examinati-
on and Enquiry made into the Premises,on Oath

it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Richard Haynes< no role > & Mary his wife
& Thomas their Son are
like to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofSt. Clements
Danesand that the last legal Place of
settlement of the saidRichard Haynes< no role > & Mary his 2
wife & Thomas their sonis in the said Parish ofSt.
Andrews Holbourn the Liberty above the
Barrs in the said County

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. Clements Danesaforesaid, that you,
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidRichard
Haynes
< no role > & Mary his wife & Thomas their son
from your said Parish ofSt. Clements
Danesto the said Parish ofSt. Andrews Halbourn
in the said Liberty above the Barrs [..] & themdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statues in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the said
Richard Haynes< no role > & Mary his wife & Thomas their son
into their said [..] and provide forthem
as their own Parishioners Given under our Hands and Seals, the
29th Day ofNovemberin the Year of our
Lord One Thousand Seven-Hundred andthirty five.
