Maketh Oath That on Wednesday the tenth day of this
instant September as he was Attending this Worshipful
Court he saw Mr. Charles Lawn< no role > an Officer to the Sheriff
of Middlesex come from his duty as he was Attending
this court and Arrest this Deponts Father John
Harrison< no role > within the Walls of the said Court And in the
Office of Mr. Higgs while he was giving instructions for
Several Bills of Indictment and particularly for a
Bill of Indictment against Thomas Carter< no role > a Constables
or Headborough for tareing defaceing and Maliciously
refuseing to execute a Warrant granted by the Worshipful
Thomas Jones< no role > Esquire one of his Majesty's Justices of Peace
of the said County. And this Deponent further maketh
Oath that on Thursday following he was present in this
Worshipfull Court and Saw Mr. Daniel the Cryer Swear
this Deponents said Father and William Southey< no role > to the
Affidavit hereunto Annexed, And that the reason why
the same was not marked or signed by the Clerk of the
Peace at the time the same was Sworn was because the
the Counsel for this Deponents father desired to read or
Peruse the same
